Watching my husband collect the leaves this evening. This isn’t about making our yard look well manicured. This is about the place on our property where the soil is struggling. In these cases, Nature provides the solutions, because that is what she was created to do. We just have to take the time and effort to know what they are, and how to assist in the process or get out of the way. We will put these leaves on that place to provide organic matter. The leaves will attract earth worms and other critters and slowly the soil will build into the good rich top soil that feeds our crops. We give back to the earth and the earth gives back to us. No trips to Tractor Supply, Home Depot or Walmart required! Isn’t that a beautiful system?!
