Rainbow's End Mini-Farm Rainbow's End Mini-Farm is a mother-daughter run hobby farm with a special interest all things mini.

Our main focus is on our beautiful herd of Mini Nubian dairy goats.

Alrighty then!

Sugar up and decided to kid this evening with no signs of early labor to warn us of what she was planning. Just like with Rainy a month ago, we were going about our chores when we heard the distinctive sound of a goat pushing. She delivered the first kid just as we arrived. A gorgeous, healthy doeling! We got her put into a kidding pen and she proceeded to have another doeling followed by two bucklings. These kids are beeeeeautiful!

The first doeling is black with roaning in a ton of white overlay, second doeling is bezoar with a splash of white overlay for contrast, both bucklings are bezoar with moonspots. Sugar and her kids are all doing great! She is a lovely first time mama.

We will likely be retaining one of the doelings after we've had some time to evaluate them. The boys are likely both spoken for already, we'll just need to confirm.

Lilly safely delivered two doelings and a buckling this afternoon with Savannah to supervise and assist as needed, while I was at work. I was able to take a break and peek in on the action through the camera, but everything was under control.

Lilly and the kids are doing well! I've hardly had time to even see them cuz we had to run right off to a 4-H meeting after I got home. Then we had a big thunderstorm. It's been kind of a wild day, but all is well that ends well! We will sleep great tonight!

Highly recommend hiring goslings as farmhands! They do take a lot of breaks, but will gladly trade w**d control and grass cutting services for cuddles!
