Same form and size but different colors come through. I’ve grown them side by side and looking to see how they grow and change over the season. So far l, same size and both great producers. Both are flowering about mid season on 5’ plants. Bloomquist Alan has pink with yellow undertones and Miss Amara is yellow with Pink undertones. They are both lovely IMO.

Pinkish one on top is BQ Alan, More Yellow on bottom is Miss Amara.

Nothing makes you confront your own reality better than hitting the flip camera button while taking pictures.

That said, isn’t she a pretty girl (Hollyhill Daydream). Started from a tuber clump this year. I could separate the tubers and they made great plants. So I got cuttings and many tubers…so naturally lots of beautiful dahlia. Plants bloom early and are so productive. They have a gorgeous raspberry color with purple and yellow accents. Best of all, these are waterlilies and curl up at night to look like peonies.
