Had a very sad morning. Had to put a lamb down. All because someone was carless with some twine while putting in the new power to the barn - and I missed it. He was a good looking boy, healthy in every other way, but the twine damaged the area where the hoof grows, so he will never have a hoof on that leg. A perfectly fine animal destroyed because I wasn't vigilant enough to find the twine before he did. One of the hardest, saddest and most frustrating things I ever had to do.

We had a great class yesterday afternoon Fiber U in Lebanon, MO Introduction to Weaving with an Inkle Loom. Everyone left class weaving on their looms - Success!!

Sitting with my morning coffee while being serenaded by the birds at Bennett State Park just outside of Lebanon, MO. Today is load-in day for the wonderful selection of vendors this weekend at Fiber U in Lebanon, MO. Come and shop or take a class ( or both!) Saturday 8 am until 5:30, or Sunday 9 until 3:30. Hope to see you there!!

Come one and all to the Michigan Fiber Festival in August from the 14 - 16th. Great vendors, great workshops, great venue - every fiber art you can think of! Looking forward to seeing everone at the Fairgrounds in Allegan, Michigan. Totally worth the trip from near and far! You won't be disappointed 😄

Buckmaster Family Farm will be at the festival this year! Icelandic wool and yarn. Tatting supplies, books, kromski looms and accessories!
