We are so excited about this future opportunity for Barrier Farms in partnership with the Carolina Farms Fund! This beautiful nearly 300 acre farm will be preserved for generations to come and we are so honored to be allowed the opportunity to become its next steward. Be on the lookout for some exciting(hopefully) new ventures for Barrier Farms that will also include our community through this new property over the next coming years as we prepare to become the new owners. We feel extremely blessed to play a small role in keeping this land farmed for generations to come.
We know preserving farm land is important to many people. We would strongly encourage you to check out their website and learn more about the unique opportunities they offer farmers and ranchers with help purchasing farm land and conserving natural spaces in rural areas facing large development, along with ways you can also help fund their mission!

The busiest time of year is here in full swing! Hay and corn getting harvested and pretty soon soybeans will get started up as well. So far we are feeling pretty blessed with how the corn is doing especially considering this past winter/spring drought! Now to get in and move on to the next thing 👏🏻

Fresh beef is restocking this morning at the farm store.
PLEASE NOTE: if you are currently waiting on a bulk order of beef or pork, we promise we are close to filling them! We are currently about 3 weeks behind due to our butchers schedule and them being a bit short staffed… but we should be back caught up in about 2 weeks. If you’re a customer that’s been asking about how quickly we are selling out of the stores fresh meat, it’s for the same reason! We can only allow so much meat to be processed for the store since this time of year we have bulk orders to fill so when we get less meat back than we are expecting, that shows in store.

Thank you for your patience! Open today 9-6
