Happy Mother’s Day from Little Fort Farm ❤️🐮

People always talk about mothers deserving a little pampering on Mother’s Day… and they absolutely do.

But honestly, today we decided our Highlands deserved a spa day too. 😂

So the brushes came out, the cows got baths, and we spent the day fluffing up some very spoiled Highlands. Along with a goat that decided for herself that she needed some pampering. Safe to say they enjoyed every second of the attention.

There’s something special about slowing down and spending a peaceful day at the farm with family, animals, and a little extra dirt and laughter mixed in. These simple moments always end up meaning the most.

Feeling very thankful today for this life God has blessed us with, and wishing all the amazing moms out there a wonderful Mother’s Day! 💐🐮

I got some Faith cuddles last night. She almost fell asleep in my lap.

Duder was out here helping us with the w**d pulling today. I made a joke about asking for his help, he understood the assignment.

Gotta love AI, although this one is pretty good!

These three girls have already taught us a lot in just a short time.Because of that, we didn’t rush their names… we wanted them to mean something.

We’ve got them now—video below 🤍🐑

Yesterday we had to take one of the new lambs to the vet. (Names coming soon) She has an ulcerated right eye due to an entropion lower eyelid. Thankfully, with treatment she should heal completely. She enjoyed her time at Westwood with Dr. Gaines and meeting other animals.

This is the farm that we purchased Italia and Inaya from. They have been amazing with answering all of our questions as first time Valais owners.
