(Sound off if you don’t want to hear a pig eating like…well, a pig!)
I’m thinking of making a ASMR YouTube channel of just Breezy eating kitchen scraps a.k.a “Breezy Bowls”. I find it oddly satisfying to watch her. 🤣 Happy Monday folks! If anything I hope this made you smile a little.

Many of our members might remember our former employee, Jessa, as she was the face of our farm while delivering meats & eggs to your doorstep a few years ago. Jessa is currently fighting stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma that was discovered after a farming accident that left her with a broken neck. Her story and her faith throughout all of these circumstances is inspiring, to say the least. Our family has known Jessa since her early days riding at Cool Breeze Stables and we watched as she grew into a passionate farmer and beautiful young woman. If there was someone we could count on and trust, it was Jessa. She needs our help as she continues her cancer journey and if you are able to help, we have linked her GoFundMe page in our profile. You can also support her this weekend (Oct. 16) through our fundraisers at the Cool Breeze Stables Horse Show. We love you Jessa, keep shining your bright light and smiling that beautiful smile! ❤️❤️❤️ .howdy

**Father’s Day Special!!**

We hope you are able to pile on the love and appreciation for the special Dad in your life this weekend. I’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out what to do for Andrew but one thing I know he’ll appreciate is a steak dinner. To help you celebrate, we’ve pulled together a special curated beef box for the special Dad in your life—just in time for you last minute shoppers 😉! Beautiful cuts of grass-fed steaks, roasts, & ground beef. Perfect timing for summer grilling season. Act fast, we only have 3 of these available!!
Farm pick up only, $250 per box (approx. 25 lbs.). Please email [email protected] or send a message here. Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

William had a big rite of passage happen this morning. He fell off of a horse for the first time! We were having a family riding lesson and while we were all getting mounted up and adjusted William gave his horse a big cowboy kick and off it went cantering around the ring, with William holding on for dear life! He actually rode it out beautifully until the end when he came off. After a couple of tears and a big hug from his instructor (a.k.a. Grammy) he got back on his horse and finished out the lesson. We are so proud of him! Thankful that he’s okay but even more thankful that he got to learn the life lesson of getting back on the horse after you fall right here on the farm.
Do you remember the first time you fell off a horse?! I’d love to share the stories with him! 🐎

That feeling when you stop by the market but forget to bring a bag (and then get really excited about the sausage and try and gnaw on the packaging a little 😉).

We are working on a market re-boot for later this spring and are excited to share the updated space with you as well as new hours and offerings. Stay tuned!

Here’s a little story about our girl Breezy to kick off March. You might recall we were expecting piglets from her earlier in the year. We waited....and waited. We thought she was growing so we waited some more. We fed her all the extra goodies....waited....and then finally realized Breezy was indeed NOT pregnant. Just a beautiful, large and in-charge sow. 🤣 When we took her to our friends at to breed her with their handsome boar they told us she was, well, very pushy and a little hostile towards him. I guess she was having none👏of👏that👏business. 🤣 This was definitely a learning lesson for us. Breezy has been living happily down in the woods this winter and we are continuing to keep her big and beautiful. Here’s to trying again sometime soon (if we can find a boar that can handle her attitude!).

A moonrise scene I came upon during a walk last week. Those are actually turkey buzzards all perched in the trees. They were so huge and ominous in person.

His birthday was on Sunday but it’s never too late to give a birthday shout out, right? As our family has grown Andrew has really taken over most aspects of the farm and it’s really amazing to watch someone you love grow into a business they are passionate about. He’s our fearless leader, pig whisperer (seriously you should see this man round up pigs onto a trailer...he’s got skills), cow herder, big dreamer, fence builder & he always has a secret stash of candy in his pockets which clearly makes him our kid’s favorite 😉. Here’s to another trip around the sun. 🌞
