Starview Farms is a local producer of pasture-raised beef and lamb. Our animals are never confined and are treated with respect.

Starview Farms is a family-owned, family-operated farm that produces high quality, pasture-raised beef. Our animals are treated with respect and never confined. We started producing beef in 1983, selling freezer beef by the 1/4's and 1/2's. Beginning in the Spring of 2016, we expanded this to processing our beef at T&E Meats with USDA inspection. Our beef is now available at the Bridgewater Farmer's Market in Bridgewater, VA, The Fairfax Community Farmers Market in Fairfax, and Bit and Bridle Tack Shop in Staunton.

Wildflowers are really growing. Back in May, we planted a patch of wildflowers near our beehive. After the last rain, they really bloomed! The bees seem very happy! Hopefully, lots of honey next year!!

Yesterday ProFence completed a project for my brother and I. Lewis and his team did a fantastic job! The equipment they used was state of the art and a heck of a lot faster than the old International 574 with an auger on back. The team finished the project in one day--by far faster and better than we could build it. Thanks Lewis and all the folks at ProFence. You made the job easy for us!

Starview Farms will return to the Saturday Fairfax Farmers Market again this year. This will be our 8th year at the market. We will have pasture raised beef available, along with lamb, pasture raised eggs, honey and Baker Pork from our friend, Steve Baker. We work with our neighbors to bring high quality, local products to our friends. We've been raising and finishing cattle since 1985. Our cattle are never confined and always have free range on pasture. Our steers are all born in Augusta County, Virginia. We do feed some grain as they grow. We've been busy over winter, working on our barn and are ready to start the market season! Stop by and say hi when you are at the market. We love meeting people and talking about agriculture. Check out our website at www.starviewfarmsva.com. Here are a couple pictures of the farm and herd!"
