I'm often asked how I do it all.
Being a mom & farm wife, I work part time at a job that I LOVE, my husband works full time on top of farming, coaching, running the stand, small scale flower farming, gardening, taking care of all the critters around here, keeping the schedules straight, running a household, etc.
And the truth is... A lot falls through the cracks. Some weeks the stand is fully stocked and beautiful, while the laundry is piled high with clothes that needed folded a week ago. Other weeks, like right now, the weeds have taken over, there's TONS of ripe tomatoes and flowers ready to be picked and I am just simply burnt out still. I've just been placing my energy in other places where it's necessary. Picking the task that's got the most importance each day. But if you always let those little tasks fall through the cracks trying to manage the big things...they build into a mountain that's harder to manage.
Sometimes I think I'm not quite cut out to work for myself, but then I remember, that's why I opened this stand. To work on my own time, at my own pace. The reality is, my available time for the stand is usually spent laying on the couch with a heating pad because my body works against me. I'm convinced I'd be unstoppable if I didn't feel like crap most days lol.
So if you've read this far, I'd like to thank you for being here. Even when I'm not my most productive or at my best. But I am trying my best and I'm so thankful for you and for this little stand. We'll see you soon hopefully ❤️
I'll let you all know when I'll be reopening but we will be closed this weekend, Sat. 9/12 & Sun. 9/13.
