How it Began
Many years ago, I visited a Texas big ranch BBQ with a spread of slow-cooked pork, chicken, beef brisket and all the fixins. I always knew that the sauce was the key to great BBQ, and though the Texas sauce was good enough, I still felt something was missing. When I returned home to the Bluegrass State, I was inspired to take my homemade recipe to the next level and create a sauce worthy of the great commonwealth of Kentucky. I finally found the perfect formula of classic BBQ flavor with a unique old-fashioned Kentucky twist that brought it to life.
