My friends, church is a tapestry of many different people, sizes, life stages and complexity. We have loved visiting churches around our area as the Lord has been giving us our next steps to build and I can’t wait to talk more about it soon. But for now - if you don’t have a church you love, find somewhere solid and don’t let small offenses keep you from being in community. No church is perfect, no people are perfect, the only perfect person is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Have an amazing Sunday friends!

Peach & Sorghum Jam

A simple jam made with ripe peaches and Kentucky sorghum. Sweet, rich, and just a little reminiscent of the way our grandparents’ kitchens smelled in late summer.

Peach Chipotle Jam

Sweet peaches with a little smoky heat from chipotle peppers. It’s one of those flavors that keeps you coming back for another bite especially over cream cheese, on a biscuit, or alongside grilled pork. We made some ribs with this the other night and it was soooooo good!

Since I grew up on a large farm and we preserved soooo much food, I regularly still put up everything we need. Today I vac sealed a bunch of meat and next week I am pressure canning some veggies, soups and stews. This is a simple way to keep meat especially when you find some on sale 💕 do y’all do any canning or food preservation?
