Now that the dust has settled somewhat from the 2025 season, I would like to take the time to thank each and every visitor that came out to the farm this Fall. The amount of support that you all show Cherry Brook Farm each and every year never ceases to amaze me, and a simple “Thank You” will never be enough.
The journey that is now Cherry Brook Farm started back in 2016, which made this the 10th year of opening the farm to visitors. In the beginning, we simply hoped that if we planted it, folks would come. Back then, there were very few options for pick-you-own pumpkins in the area. Now, you have options of pick-your-own pumpkin farms popping up in nearly every town in the area - but thankfully you still choose to support us. Without you all, my dream would have fizzled out quickly - but instead, you all have helped us keep on keepin’ on for the past 10 seasons. Again, we are so very grateful and thankful for each of you, and have certainly been blessed here at Cherry Brook Farm.
The seasons always seem to fly by, even though the tasks are arduous, labor intensive, and time consuming. I can’t thank my helpers enough for always helping me pull things together, and for keeping me pushing forward. Without them, I simply could not do this – so a huge thank you goes out to each them as well!
Over the years, we have made so many great friends and acquaintances simply through your quick visits here. While most come to simply grab a pumpkin or a snack, I also cannot overlook the fact that Cherry Brook Farm means so much more to some people than what I would have ever imagined. The farm has become a gathering place for older folks to simply watch the joy on the each childs face as they come through the barn. It’s a place where grieving parents came to simply take their mind off of the loss of their son a few days prior. It's a place where an older couple visited simply because it was their 95 year old friend's favorite trip in the Fall. It’s a place where young couples choose to get engaged simply because they came here for their first date. Whatever the reason is that brought you here, we are certainly glad have chosen us to grown your memories with.
We hope to build upon this year with some new and fun things for next year. I really hope to have a retail space available in the next few years where we can offer some other fall items, farm merchandise, local crafts and baked goods, a little café of some sort, and someday maybe a small wedding venue for those who want a simple wedding without breaking the bank. I have tons of ideas, but I also know that time and helping hands are very limiting factors to many of my crazy ideas. I can promise you this - as long as you continue to support us, we will strive to make your visit more enjoyable and more exciting each and every year.
Again, thank each of you so very much. We look forward to serving you next year, and in the future. We hope you have a great rest of the year, and may God Bless each of you.
Enjoy a few photos that I took over the course of this season to reflect on what was 2025 on the Farm.
Take care, and God Bless!
