🍎🥃 **COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: APPLE PIE OLD FASHIONED** 🔥

We might've just put fall in a glass! 😏

Bourbon, smooth apple purée, cinnamon sugar, and a caramelized apple garnish that deserves its own spotlight. This one tastes like apple pie decided to dress up for a night out. 🍂

**🥃 WHAT YOU'LL NEED:**

- 2 oz Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
- ½ oz apple cocktail purée
- ¼ oz Simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters (optional)

**WHY FOUR ROSES SMALL BATCH? 🥃**

We went with Four Roses Small Batch because its balance of fruity notes, caramel, vanilla, and warm spice pairs beautifully with the apple and cinnamon. It brings plenty of bourbon character without overpowering the fall flavors. It's the kind of pairing that makes this cocktail work! 👌

**🍎 FOR THE GARNISH:**

- Apple slice
- Brown sugar
- Cinnamon sugar

**🔥 HOW TO MAKE IT:**

1. Add bourbon, apple purée, simple syrup, and bitters to a shaker with ice.
2. Shake briefly until chilled.
3. Rim glass with caramel and cinnamon sugar.
4. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
5. Rim the glass with caramel and cinnamon sugar.
6. Coat your apple slice with brown sugar and cinnamon sugar.
7. Carefully torch the garnish until the sugar caramelizes, let it cool, and finish off your cocktail.

There you have it — the **Apple Pie Old Fashioned!** 🍎🥃

🌵 TEQUILA TUESDAY: TEQUILA 101! 🥃

Ever stand in front of the tequila shelf wondering what the difference is? Let's break it down real quick! 👇

🤍 BLANCO — Fresh agave character. Great for margaritas and other cocktails.

🟡 REPOSADO — Rested in oak barrels for at least 2-12 months, giving it extra color and barrel character.

🥃 AÑEJO — Aged in oak for at least 1-3 year for a deeper, more barrel-influenced character.

A little glimpse into what a normal day around here actually looks like. 😂

Some days are busy, some days are slow, and some days we’re just trying to figure out how it’s already 5 o’clock.

Between stocking shelves, helping customers, answering questions, selling concert tickets, dealing with campground reservations, getting ready for shows, and whatever else gets thrown our way… there’s never really a “normal” day.

But honestly, that’s what makes this place special to me.

Valley Liquor has become more than just a place I go to work every day. It’s the people we’ve met, the conversations we’ve had, the crazy days, the good days, and all the little moments in between.

So here’s a little look at **a day at Valley Liquor — just the way it really is.** ❤️

🍇🥃 COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: BLACKBERRY BOURBON SMASH 🥃🍇

Sweet blackberry. Fresh lemon. A little bourbon kick. This one checks all the boxes. 😏

What you need:
🥃 3 oz bourbon
🫐 1 oz blackberry purée
🍋 1 oz lemon juice
🍯 1 oz simple syrup
🧊 Ice

How to make it:
Add everything to a shaker with ice and shake it up. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a few blackberries or a lemon wedge if you're feeling fancy.

Simple, refreshing, and just dangerous enough to make you want another one. 😂
