🤎🌾 Happy National Farmers Day from our family to yours. 🐄
Sometimes I think about how much of our lives are wrapped up in this farm. The early mornings when the rest of the world is still sleeping. The late nights when there’s still work to be done. The worry, the sacrifices, the exhaustion, and the days when things don’t go as planned. The moments when you wonder how you’re going to keep going, but you get up the next morning and do it all over again.
Because this is more than a job to us. This is our life. This is our livelihood. This is our legacy.
As a fourth-generation dairy farmer, we carry a piece of the generations before us in everything we do. They worked this land, cared for their animals, and made sacrifices so the next generation could have a chance to continue. And now, it’s our turn to carry that responsibility forward.
There is something incredibly special about knowing that the work we do today is part of a story that began long before us. I often wonder what those generations before me would think if they could see us now, still milking cows, still working the land, still trying to make a living doing what they loved and what we love.
Farming isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always profitable. And it certainly isn’t easy. There are days when the weight of it all feels heavier than anyone could ever understand. But then there are the quiet moments in the barn, the familiar faces of our cows, the first signs of a new life, and the thought that somewhere, a family is sitting around their table enjoying something that came from our farm. And somehow, it all feels worth it again.
We’ll keep showing up. We’ll keep doing our best. We’ll keep caring for the animals entrusted to us and putting our hearts into the food we produce.
Because farming isn’t just about what we leave behind. It’s about what we pass on.
To every farmer who has ever wondered if the sacrifices are worth it, who has missed family moments, worked through exhaustion, worried about making ends meet, or loved this life even when it broke their heart a little — I see you. I understand you. And I’m proud to stand beside you.
And to our customers, thank you. Every time you choose to buy from our farm, you are doing more than purchasing milk or other farm-fresh goods. You are helping a family keep a tradition alive. You are helping make sure there is still a next generation of farmers. You are becoming a small part of our story, and that means more than you know.
