Some cattle are born with a job to do.

Butler Farms Polled Choretime isn’t ready to carry the load just yet, but he is showing all the signs of a bull that will someday earn that responsibility.

Sired by Butler Polled mPact (PP) and out of a daughter of RBC Polled Esto 655, Choretime combines generations of proven genetics focused on functionality, fertility, and efficiency.

In today’s cattle industry, we need cattle that work for a living. Cattle that are moderate, easy fleshing, sound structured, and capable of remaining productive for years. Those traits don’t happen by accident—they are built through disciplined selection over generations.

We believe Choretime is headed in the right direction.

The future belongs to cattle that can thrive in real-world conditions while maintaining the phenotype, performance, and profitability that producers demand.

Keep The Quality Up.

🍑 If you like BIG BUTTS, take a look at Market Maker. 🍑

Some cattle are made to be admired from the side. Others are made to be admired from behind.

BUTLER POLLED MARKET MAKER has the kind of hip that gets your attention immediately. The impressive width and shape over his rump are no accident.

✅ Sired by BUTLER POLLED KOE
✅ Out of a daughter of Coster (JDH LAWFORD MANSO 616/6)

Market Maker combines the thickness, muscle, and functional efficiency that have made these bloodlines so valuable. A big hip is more than eye appeal—it represents muscle, performance, and pounds that matter in the real world.

We continue to select for cattle that are moderate, easy fleshing, fertile, and functional, while still possessing the muscle and power that commercial cattlemen appreciate.

Study this calf carefully. We believe he has a bright future ahead of him.

Keep The Quality Up.

POLLED WINSTON 🔥

There are certain bulls that leave a lasting mark on the Brahman breed. JDH Winston is unquestionably one of them.

This calf is sired by Butler Polled Koe and out of a daughter of JDH Winston, blending proven breed influence with modern functional efficiency.

JDH Winston genetics became known throughout the Brahman industry for producing cattle with:
✔️ Structural correctness
✔️ Length and extension
✔️ Muscle shape
✔️ Strong breed character
✔️ Maternal function
✔️ Practical, real-world usability

The reason Winston genetics are still heavily represented in Brahman pedigrees today is simple: the cattle consistently worked.

Not just in the backdrop pens or show ring… but in production environments where fertility, longevity, and soundness matter.

When you combine that kind of maternal foundation with the moderation, easy fleshing ability, structural integrity, and polled advantage of Koe, you start stacking generations of practical cattle traits together.

We believe the future of the Brahman breed depends on blending proven genetics with functional efficiency and progressive breeding decisions.

Balanced cattle. Productive cattle. Functional cattle.

There are certain bloodlines in the Brahman breed that changed the direction of the industry.
One of those was the influence of JDH Woodson.

For decades, Woodson cattle became known for adding structural correctness, extension, muscle, performance, bone, and cattle that could function outside of a feed bucket and fitting chute. His influence spread across countless pedigrees because the cattle worked in real-world environments.

This bull calf combines that historic lineage with modern progressive polled genetics through Butler Polled Koe.

Koe has become known for producing moderate, easy-fleshing cattle with body, rib shape, structural integrity, and practical functionality while maintaining phenotype and breed character.

That is what makes this calf unique.

This is not just another pedigree stacked with popular names.
This calf represents generations of cattle selected for:
• Function
• Fertility
• Structural integrity
• Maternal strength
• Longevity
• Practical efficiency

The Brahman breed cannot stand still.
To continue moving forward, we have to blend proven foundational genetics with progressive breeding decisions that improve functionality and efficiency for the future.

We believe calves like this are part of that future.

Keep The Quality Up.

Cattle Judges Should Be Instructed:

“Excessive condition should not outweigh functional femininity, structural correctness, maternal design, and productive phenotype.”

Brahman Breeders,

The Red River Brahman Alliance / Bos Indicus International would like to announce an important change for our next Bos Indicus International show.

Beginning with our next event, the Bos Indicus International show will move from traditional age divisions to WEIGHT CLASSES.

All cattle will be weighed and shown against cattle of similar weight instead of simply by age. This change is designed to help create a more level playing field for exhibitors and address one of the growing concerns in the show industry today — the backdating of birth dates in younger show classes.

If someone brings a 1,500-pound, 12-month-old bull, that bull will now compete against other 1,500-pound bulls instead of much lighter cattle whose birth dates may not have been tampered with.

We believe this is a major step toward fairness, integrity, and real-world evaluation of cattle.

The RRBA/BII has already become one of the most progressive groups in the Brahman industry by incorporating performance data into the judging process — something unique within the breed today. Moving to weight classes is another step forward as we continue working to improve the credibility and future of the show ring.

We are still working through the final details and structure of the weight divisions, so stay tuned for additional information in the coming weeks.

If you believe in progressive cattle evaluation, fair competition, and reducing politics and cheating in the show ring, we invite you to become a part of the Red River Brahman Alliance and Bos Indicus International organizations.

Together, we can help move the breed forward.

What a weekend at the Red River Brahman Alliance / Bos Indicus International Livestock Show.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event run as smooth as clockwork. Shows of this size do not happen without hardworking people behind the scenes, and we were blessed with an incredible team.

Special thanks to Deanna and Tommy Ramsay, Sam and Christie Cooper along with their two daughters Laura and Michelle, Meagan and Hayden Kirkpatrick and their daughter Tyler Cooper, Hannah and Blake Lynch, Venkat Kolli, and Rilee and Reagan Wasson. Every one of you worked extremely hard all weekend long, and because of your efforts the entire event was seamless from start to finish.

A special appreciation as well to Cody Maxwell, our guest speaker, for taking the time to present valuable information on the current cattle market and where the industry is expected to go moving forward. We appreciate your insight and willingness to share your knowledge with everyone in attendance.

Thank you as well to everyone who brought cattle, participated, supported, and helped make the show such a success. We had over 400 entries, and despite the size of the event, the atmosphere stayed relaxed, enjoyable, and positive all weekend long.

A very special thank you to the juniors who participated in our first junior show for this event. Seeing young people involved and excited about the future of the cattle industry was something special, and we truly appreciate every junior exhibitor and family that supported the event.

We truly appreciate everyone who played a part in making this such a great show.

Keep The Quality Up.
