Here's the bull. 🙄 He apparently had been there for a while as evidenced by the destruction of property in his proximity.
Our farmer and little dude climbed on top of the straw bales to coax him out backwards. Logically to the farmer, there was more space between bales for him to retreat in reverse and that should be his exit strategy.
He did not agree with the farmer's suggestion that he back out the same way he got himself into this trap.
An argument ensued over whether the farmer should remain standing on the bales or enter the same predicament. The bull was unsuccessful in his attempt for the farmer to join him between the bales and received a stern warning about his dangerous and rude behavior. The bull then made up his mind to exit in his own fashion.
He trudged forward using brute force to encourage the bales to allow his passage between their narrow divide.
He then followed the route the cows and calves had taken and entered the pasture through the opening which they had created earlier in the day.
Moral of this story?
Bulls aren't all that intelligent, but they usually get their way because they are huge and persistent.
