Angry Acres Farm in Mount Vernon, Ohio, crafts goat milk soap, lotion, lip balm, beard care, and more using fresh milk from our Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats raised on our Knox County farm. We raise ADGA Registered Alpine, Nigerian Dwarf, and Recorded Grade Alpine Dairy Goats.

🐐 Happy Wednesday from Angry Acres Farm!

If you’re new here, welcome! We’re a goat farm with a shop right in downtown Mount Vernon, where our goat milk soaps and body care products share the shelves with gifts and other fun finds.

You’ll find bar soaps, lotions, lip balms, sugar scrubs, bath goodies, and more. We also offer custom laser engraving, so feel free to ask about an idea you have in mind!

🛍️ The shop is open today from 12–6 PM!

October is keeping us busy, and there’s still plenty to join in on:

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Contest: Entries are open through October 25 at 6 PM! It’s FREE, open to all ages, and virtual we just need your entry form and pumpkin photo. Find the form link in our pinned Facebook post or stop into the shop for a form! Voting runs October 26–30, with winners announced on Halloween.

🍬 Donley Ford Trunk or Treat: Get those costumes ready for October 26 from 6–7:30 PM at 1455 Coshocton Avenue in Mount Vernon! Head over for an evening of Halloween fun and treats.

🧙 Witches Night Out: Join the downtown fun October 29 from 4–8 PM! Enjoy shopping, food, and the Pumpkin Hunt, and make Angry Acres Farm one of your stops!

🐐 Mount Vernon Farmers Market: Find us Saturdays from 9 AM–noon through October 31. Halloween will be our LAST market of the season!

🐐 Farmers market season is getting close to the finish line!

You can still find Angry Acres Farm at the Mount Vernon Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9 AM–noon through October 31.

That means there are three market Saturdays left to stop by, pick up your favorites, and support the local vendors you’ve spent the season shopping with!

🎃 Halloween will be our LAST farmers market of the year.

But don’t worry Angry Acres Farm doesn’t close when market season ends! Our downtown shop is open year-round just across the street from the market!, so you’ll still have a place to grab your soaps, body care, and gifts.

Are you carving a classic jack-o’-lantern, attempting something detailed, or handing the pumpkin over to the kids and seeing what happens? 😂

Whatever your approach, we’d love to have you enter our FREE Pumpkin Carving Contest! There are age groups for children, teens, and adults, so the whole family can participate.

Your pumpkin stays with you we just need a photo and your entry form.

🐐 A little appreciation for the milk makers behind Angry Acres Farm!

Before there’s soap to cut, products to label, or shelves to stock, there are goats to feed, water, milk, and clean up after. They’re part of our everyday life, and they come with plenty of personality.

Some are sweet. Some are opinionated. Some apparently believe every feeding is several hours late, even when it isn’t. 😂

Farm life keeps us busy, but these girls are a big part of how this business began.

We’re up and at it this morning and headed to the Mount Vernon Farmers Market! Come enjoy a little Saturday morning shopping and support some of your favorite local farmers, growers, and small businesses!
