Did you know that eggs from hens raised on pasture are more nutritious than eggs from confined hens in factory farms? Research has shown that eggs from pasture raised hens have 4-6 times as much Vitamin D as typical supermarket eggs! They also have more Vitamin A, more Omega-3 fatty acids, more Vitamin E and more Beta-carotene.

Combine that with high quality Organic Henhouse Reserve Feed (corn-free, soy-free) and you have a powerhouse food!

Meet our Flock (part 1):

The Turkeys
Added to our Flock in March 2025 from . Originally planned to be Thanksgiving dinner, now our protective and nosey pets. They can be found up in trees, peering at you from a window and chasing the dogs. We are hopeful that with the addition of this big guy and his gals, the hawks we have seen circling the farm are a little more apprehensive for a meal. The Tom loves to sing along with the laughter of the boys and an occasional song. The gals love to follow us and peck at anything that moves.
