To our Bay View Flower Farm community,
Over the past few weeks, we've received feedback from some customers regarding communication delays, as well as a select few questions and concerns related to tuber performance. I wanted to personally take a moment to address those concerns.
First, if you've reached out and felt unheard, I'm truly sorry.
This spring has been one of the busiest and most challenging seasons our family has experienced. Between planting the dahlia fields, wrapping up major construction projects on the farm, keeping the shop open for spring visitors, and navigating an unexpected family illness, we simply took on more than we were prepared to manage.
While that's not an excuse, it is the truth.
One of the biggest lessons we've learned this season is that we need stronger systems and additional support in place as our business grows. We recognize that communication has not been as timely as it should have been, and we're already making improvements to ensure our customers receive the support they deserve.
We understand how disappointing it can be when a tuber doesn't perform as expected. We take those concerns seriously and are committed to reviewing each situation thoughtfully and fairly.
At the same time, we've been grateful for the many messages, photos, and updates we've received from customers sharing healthy tubers, newly planted gardens, and excitement for the growing season ahead. Those messages mean more than you know.
This farm means everything to our family. We care deeply about the quality of what we grow, the experience our customers have, and the trust you've placed in us.
Thank you for your patience, your feedback, and your continued support. We are listening, learning, and committed to doing better as we continue to grow.
