Just went through some fertility check chicks, I have 8 . Some are split, some are mottled. Local pick up only. I'm not Npip at the moment but I have a closed flock. No shipping No holding.

Once a day I let these babies out to free range when I'm home. This is a split to mottled i am in love with . Even though they get filthy sometimes you just got to let them chicken 🥰.

Mottled are so confusing ! They amaze me all the time. This girl was hatched from a split and a mottled. She was pitch black up until her 3rd or 4th molt. I wonder how much more mottling she will get ? Or if she will stay just like this .

I have a few chicks for local pick up. They are not breeding quality . They will be beautiful though ! They are split to mottled and pure white. I am currently not npip as this was just a fertility check and I didn't hatch/sell all winter so I had no need. Nothing new has been brought in and I have had no sickness I just needed a break.

This winter has been rough ! No fertility at all ! I am happy to say fertility is popping again and I will have eggs hatching until I can't hatch anymore ! Until then enjoy the results of things that do have fertility on the farm 😄.
