We didn't come home with ribbons but tons of good friends did and excluding the horrible heat the show was amazing as always. Congratulations to my friends at American Jewell Farm and Eifel Acres Kids for your new finished champions can't be happier for the both of you along with Starlight Acres Farm and Wild Feather Ranch on your gorgeous boys doing so well. Also congrats to ML Nelson Farm on Popeye's first leg and hope for many more for him. A picture of my gorgeous Popeye daughter Penny. So a few things happened over the buck show weekend first is saying good bye to Apollo aka Whimsy@Whitsend Platinum as he left for a new farm but technically and old home so excited to see his kids and hopefully the four does he bred for me settle. I wish him all the best with his new farm

Out all my bucks this one is my literally my favorite. Does he like nope easy catch nope. But you shave this coat and this is underneath color yes but his body is just stunning his dairy skin his length his depth of body and his top line he just stands out. Am I worried about his height yes at a year old he is tall but has done his job. Standing out in the show ring LA GVV 83 he is a buck I never thought would come from our herd. This is Blue Roof Farms SJ Rosewood aka Rosewood. His sire is Eifel Acres CO Space Jam and his dam is Blue Moon Hill Bashful and I can't wait to see his kids on the ground in the spring.

We had an update to our breeding plans as two does will be doing repeat breeding with Eifel Acres HL Chubby. The does are Blue Moon Hill Cherry Rose and Blue Moon Hill Candied Ginger both already have daughters of these pairings that I have shown consistently and am excited to do those pairings again.

This is the next goat on my retain list and this girl has some great genetics behind her. This is Blue Roof Farms Ava Rosegold aka Ava. She is a Whimsy@Whitsend Platinum aka Apollo daughter out of Blue Moon Hill Cherry Rose aka Cherry. Her half sister is one of my favorite goats Blue Roof Farms CH Sour Cherry who is one of my stunning does that I have shown sense she was a jr kid and now is a dry yearling. I have high hopes for both but Ava is everything out of Apollo that I am excited about with hopes she will big enough to breed this fall otherwise she is going to be a gorgeous yearling either way.

Here is another retain my 2nd buckling I am holding back. This is Blue Roof Farms CH Rocky Road aka Rocky. He is another Eifel Acres HL Chubby Hubby son out of my doe Thankful Hearts June Bug. This buckling as so much promise and caught my eye the moment he was born. He is wide and deep and has great dairy skin. I can't wait to see how he matures and use him next year.
