So blessed! I was trying to feed the cows and there were SO MANY cows in the way. You have the big ones trying to eat from the forks and the little bitty babies running around!! We also took 6 mamas in for preg checks and we have 6/6 that are expecting in the spring! So thankful for this life, even the hectic parts. Also thankful for my family as this definitely requires all of us!

We welcomed this little girl today (first picture) and this little boy about a week ago! Our herd keeps growing! Next week we take 6 in for preg checks! We also took 2 cows in for butcher, three pigs and have three more going next week!

Found a couple of pigs from our ranch at the Elmore County Fair today! If anyone is looking for piglets for next 4H fair season hit us up. These pigs had a growth rate of 2.1lbs per day. We will also have a steer ready for 4H next year.

We have passed 100 gallons of milk produced by our cows this year, starting in April! That’s over $350 dollars saved on milk alone! Not to mention all the yogurt, cheese and butter we have made with our milk! It’s a lot of hard work but I am thankful for our cows!

We have 7 pigs going to butcher in about a month. If you are looking for something to fill your freezer please let us know as soon as possible so we can get people locked in.

A great app!

🚨 GIVEAWAY! 🚨

As mentioned previously, as a way to give back to the community as well as to encourage increased support of the app, I am giving away a Charles Walter single row seeder.

No purchase necessary.

Having a Henalytics account: +10 entries

Following us on FB: +10 entries

Sharing this post (can either tag 2 people in comments or share): +20 entries

Future giveaways will happen when the amount of support surpasses the amount to run the app (my labor included as I now spend around 2-3 hours a day when the kiddos and wife are asleep to build the app 🙂). This seeder giveaway is made possible from a generous supporter helping to get it off the ground. Future giveaways will be contingent on support being more than costs!

Giveaway ends September 1st!

Winner will be announced in the app and notified via email around September 15.

The person who said “don’t cry over spilt milk” obviously never milked a cow. 😭
