Both us and Kolache Lady Lisa will be sending up some of our goodies for the bake sale fundraiser. Tomorrow at PLACO breakfast there's a table by the door with baked goods. It's a fundraiser for the 911 signs. Be sure to check them out and all of it goes directly to the fundraiser. Y'all are always welcome to donate as well. There's information about it and should have pre-order forms available soon too. I regret that I will not be at the breakfast in the morning.. I truly will miss seeing all y'all's smiles! Enjoy, tomorrow morning is supposed to be nice weather but it'll get hot by afternoon'ish..

It's bake day! And these beauties coming out of the oven looking all delicious 😋

We have progress.. and some hoops are jumped through but still got a little ways to go yet but in the meantime... Rickey is home and working on getting his state HVACR Contractor License. He's studying and going through the hoops, but he is still a state licensed HVACR Technician and federally EPA certified. He is available for any HVAC servicing, repairs, and cleaning your systems, also handyman work while he's doing the steps needed to achieve the state HVACR Contractor License.

We are located in Promise Land, you can message him through fb messenger here, or by texting or calling

Good day everyone! We will be there Saturday morning with all our Sourdough Breads! Kefir Milk Sourdough is our personal favorite here on the homestead, and we hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.

Just a little information on Kefir Milk Sourdough

benefits of kefir Milk sourdough Combining milk kefir and sourdough merges two powerful fermentation traditions. Using milk kefir either as an ingredient in sourdough bread or as a direct yeast culture enhances the dough with extra protein, lactic acid, and diverse microbes, yielding a tender crumb, longer shelf life, and easier digestion.

Nutritional and Gut Health BenefitsExtra Protein and Minerals:
Milk kefir adds bioavailable dairy protein, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus directly into your bread dough.

Easier Digestion:
The active organic acids and friendly bacteria break down starches and gluten proteins in the flour similarly to traditional sourdough fermentation.

Lower Lactose: The fermentation process consumes most of the natural milk sugars (lactose), making the dairy component easier to handle for sensitive stomachs.

Tender, Soft Texture:
The fats and lactic acid in milk kefir soften the gluten strands, creating a rich, tender crumb and moist texture in the final loaf.

Natural Preservation:
Natural acids from the kefir help the bread resist mold and stay fresh longer than standard commercial yeast breads.

Just wanted to drop some information on our breads. Hope to see everyone Saturday!

Good morning everyone! We will be with kolache lady Lisa at the Cottor's Farmers Market Saturday. We hope y'all will come down and see us. However if you're not able to make it down there, we will gladly fill your orders and pickups on Friday evening aprox 6pm or you can pickup at bingo Saturday night, if you are planning on attending bingo at PLACO.

Lisa has all her sweet rolls and gluten free items and we have our Sourdough Breads and cookies. And of course our Salves. Chigger Please Salve is great for a number of things but geared towards the nasty itch and drawing. Pain and Inflammation Salve is in stock as well. I have put in over 15 years of Apothecary research and development to ensure the best formulas and ingredients in our salves. Feel free to ask me any questions about any of our salves and apothecary items that we offer.

Please contact me or Lisa for your orders, we appreciate them and grateful that you chose us. To ensure your orders are filled Please let either one of us know by Thursday evening. Thank you all again.
