I was raised in restaurants, learned to cook in all of them, survived as a young adult through them. I chose to move to these mountains to raise my own food. Now it’s time to share….

Trying to source all organic local produce and pickles.

I need some friends on the 28th in the morning that can come and support me AS I address the board of supervisors.

I’m going to speak about food freedom within our county and It would mean so much to me…(I’m pulling a “friend card”….). Please help me. Just come with me. A few hours of your time could mean so much. I’ll cook you food after! 😄😄😄.

This will mean a lot to our county and the small businesses that are trying to thrive to make it. We want it to be known that we alone decide who where we get our food from. No government, no monopolies, we create for our own without oversight.

Message me if you can go. It’s about everyone’s right to choose as people represent the local economy. We need our fellow locals to come out.

Newbies out on grass!

Layer ducks on grass. Put them out this morning from the brooder. They are a bit flighty, but they are much happier here. make some happy eggs. :)

Every day moved. When I can twice. Chickens turkeys ducks and geese. Local food, non gmo from Williams, CA.

Spring water, sunshine, air. Its dusty, hot, Im dirty all the time, but the birds love it.

New land, every day, they never sit in their 💩. I dont have water i. This pasture yet so I bring 4 5 gallon buckets to water all the birds.

I spend no money on fuel to mow my grasses. I use the animals to do the work and create our food off of our soil.

The land gets worked, fertilized, grazed, and ready for winter to grow new grass for spring.

It takes 2 months of this to grow out these chickens. Quite the workout. Its all worth it to see the freezer in the end.

We sell our birds right here on the farm in Mountain Ranch. If you need to get a few let me know. I have a couple hundred coming up for harvest.

I do have limited stock in the freezer as well as grass fed lamb.

Log it, graze it, or watch it burn.

Sorry everyone! Were staying on the farm for the market tonight. Its to hot to be gone. Have to keep a close eye on animals in the heat. Take care all and see you soon!
