We will be processing our next batch of chickens this Friday, 8/14. If you want fresh chicken (not frozen) let us know by Friday evening and we can set them aside in the fridge for you. These would need to be picked up by Monday evening at the latest. We can do farm pick up or we can work out a meet up location in town.
$5.50/lb or if you buy 5 or more then they are $5/lb

We just restocked our chicken feed for the next few weeks. We believe what our food eats matters. That’s why we feed our chickens non-gmo feed from Nemo Feed. We currently have whole, frozen chickens ($5.50/lb) with pick up locations in Springfield, west plains, willow springs, Mountain View, and Dardenne prairie.

St. Louis friends, Sean is bringing a freezer of chicken up this week. Chicken will be available for pick up after Wednesday in the Dardenne Prairie area. Whole frozen chicken $5.50/lb. Pasture raised and given non-gmo feed. Let us know if you want any!

We have been harvesting tons of mullein around the farm. Mullein is often referred to as natures mucinex and is great for respiratory issues. We have some 5g bags for $5 if you want to give this a try.

We are watching our elderberry plants and are eager to harvest fresh berries in the next month or so. We have elderberry syrup kits available now for $10. These include dried elderberries, organic cinnamon stick, and organic clove. These kits are great to have on hand to make a quick batch of elderberry syrup when cold and flu season hits.

These are available for farm pick up (Mountain View) or we can meet in west plains, willow springs, or Mountain View.

We are getting ready to process our next batch of chickens this coming week. These chickens have been enjoying foraging out in the pasture and are doing well. After processing, we let the chickens chill for 24 hours before they go into the freezer. If you are local and want to place an order before they hit the freezer let us know. I always keep out a handful of birds for our family and cut them up into parts. Then I put them in our freezer. This allows me the flexibility to make things like barbecue chicken legs or to have cut up breasts for chicken bacon ranch wraps. Let us know by July 23rd if you want refrigerated chicken and we can work out a pick up/meet up day.
