Available Does:

BoPeep: unregistered, yearling
Penny & Polly: unregistered, 2.5 years old

$300 each

Dam of the 3 does above, Roseannie, available as well, but due to a weak ankle, not recommended for breeding. She can go with BoPeep as a companion. The pair is $500. She is registered and has a wonderful personality. She is welcome to stay one my farm, but loves BoPeep.

BoPeep is destined to be a wonderful milker and mother. While unregistered she has amazing lines behind her! Her sire is out of the Aires line of Nigerian dwarfs.

Penny & Polly are a hard sell for our family. They've been amazing pets and the first to greet all of our guests. They need a smaller buck for breeding, but should be easy to handle on the milk stand! Great genes for udders too!

Update: Emmy and Rosie have been chosen for a wonderful new home, and a deposit has been made! Penny and Polly are still available.

Mini Nubian Does available.
I love these ladies, and I'm looking for them to have a good new home.

Rosie and Emmy so sweet and funny, and they have produced some of the sweetest milk. They can be bred before leaving if needed.

Penny and Polly are gen 1 mini nubians. They have never freshened and would make wonderful pets for any family. They are only available together. 💛

🌻 Hi friends, I'm Heather Vences – co-operator of The Wacky Farm alongside my amazing husband and our growing little family.

Beautiful changes are happening in our lives, and they’ve led us to re-evaluate where our energy and time need to go most right now. Last year, we welcomed our first daughter into the world, and this December, we’ll be meeting our second. These two little blessings have brought so much joy and perspective into our lives.

At the same time, the loss of my father has reminded me how important it is to hold tight to what truly matters—and for us, that's slowing down, simplifying, and soaking in these early years with our babies.

Because of all this, we’ve decided to step back from one of our biggest farm projects. We’ll be selling most of our beloved herd of Mini Nubian dairy goats. It's not a goodbye forever—just a pause while we shift focus to raising our children with love, presence, and a bit more space in our days.

We’ve built a beautiful foundation here at The Wacky Farm, and we know there will be many more critters, projects, and adventures ahead when the time is right. The full sale post with details on our herd will be coming soon, but we wanted to share our hearts with you first.

Thank you all for the incredible support, encouragement, and interest in our little farm journey. There’s always something wild and wonderful happening at The Wacky Farm—but for now, we’re scaling back.

- Heather

Some folks are scared of raw milk. I understand the fear of harmful things growing in your milk, but it's important to know how it happens.

Raw milk doesn't naturally have harmful bacteria in it. In fact, it's the opposite.

It's about exposure. Pasteurization kills anything harmful that your milk was exposed to, but it can still be exposed to things like salmonella and listeria afterward. Pasteurized milk is just as conducive to the growth of those things as raw milk. 🌻

Personally, I'd rather ensure my milk comes from a clean place that prevents exposure and rapidly lowers the temperature🌻

We will have milk available soon! Feel free to ask about our process. We will post videos as we ramp up.

Other questions to ask yourself about your milk:
Does it matter what animals were fed that produced your milk?
Does it matter what their quality of life is?
Does it matter what happens to their babies? Which is necessary step before they can produce milk.
Could your milk taste better or be fresher?

Supermarket chains Hy-Vee and Schnucks are both recalling multiple cheese products due to a possible salmonella contamination.

All our kids officially have destined new homes!

More will be available throughout the month as they're born. Likely this week!

Our spoken for kids will be here until late May and early June. We're so excited that they all found Arkansas homes. If they're new owners ever need anything, we'll be close enough to lend a hand.

On a sadder note, we lost one of our beloved goat babies this weekend despite our efforts to save her. It's a reminder that there's always something to learn on the farm.

It took us years to feel comfortable offering milk to our community, expanding our herd, and selling offspring. We wanted to say confidently that we're experienced, knowledgeable, and operate at the highest standards. However, farming will always keep you humble.

Milk and eggs will be available soon!

We're almost there!

What's left to do:
1. Our milk machine gets here Tuesday. This will create an even cleaner process!
2. We pick up our jars on April 18th.
3. 5 more goats to kid, but we'll start having small quantities available soon.

We're getting about a gallon a day right now with milking two goats once a day. Most of this milk will be used at home, made into yogurt, and shared with our friends and family. In the next 2 weeks, you can expect us to make some available for purchase.

By May, we'll have consistent quantities.
By June, we'll have gallons available daily!

As we gear up to make milk available to the community, we'll be posting about our process. We hold ourselves to high standards of cleanliness and produce the sweetest and best tasting milk!
