Here is an update -- The USDA/FSA has taken our farm and we are trying hard to leave. We don't know where we will go but we have a camper that we will be living in until we figure it out. I have never felt so overwhelmed in my life. We worked so hard here to build a farm and a life and to feed our cusomers real, nutrient dense food, ethically raised We cannot afford to farm in Colorado so we are looking at maybe Arkansas or Texas to start another small farm and maybe in the process also find some peace and less regulations. In case you don't know on-farm sales of raw milk, cheese, yougurt, etc. and processed meat chicken is legal there. I tried to follow all the rules and laws in Colorado even though others did not and look what it has gained me. I never lied to customers even when it hurt me and I truly appreciated every customer who bought from me. I loved what we did, loved the Farmers Markets and talking to everybody and especially enjoyed sharing stories and recipes and our lives and farm. I am going to miss every one of you as much as I miss the animals that are no longer living here. They have all found new farms, good farms but I still miss them each and every day. For those of you who might want to support us one last time we are having a sale on Saturday from 9-3. We have al lot of farming items, backyard homesteading items, food prep and cookware stuff. A more thourough list is at http://denver.craigslist.org/gms/5423248846.html. Please pass it on! We need every bit of monet so we need you to get the word out so we can move out of our driveway and onto the road. Please stick with me I will be posting from the roads with many visits to Organic farms. Thank you all for your continued support.
