About Us

Our family is passionate about families knowing where their food comes from. All of our animals are raised right here on our family farm in Central Pennsylvania. Farming is a family affair on The Bison Farm. Tupper Sverduk grew up on his parent’s bison farm, and serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Eastern Bison Association. He has been involved in the Eastern Bison Association since childhood, has served as their president, and has received the award of Producer of the Year from the EBA for numerous consecutive years. Tupper graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Animal Science and Agriculture Business.

We take pride in the way we farm and raise our animals. We work closely with the NRCS to ensure that our farming practices are environmentally friendly.

On The Bison Farm we raise both grass fed and grain fed animals, without the use of added growth hormones. Not only do we produce bison, but we also raise beef cattle and pork.

All of our animals are harvested humanely at a USDA certified slaughter house.
