The federal government is temporarily increasing the amount of imported lean beef trimmings allowed into the United States in an effort to bring down the price of ground beef…..

And ok families need affordable food. We understand that better than anyone….But we also believe you deserve to KNOW WHAT YOU’RE BUYING!!!

At Old South, we’re not trying to be the cheapest meat counter in town.

We’re trying to be the one you TRUST.

We intentionally source quality beef, including PRIME, upper 2/3 Choice, Wagyu and beef from local producers when available. We work with a local processor for all of our cuts.

There will always be a cheaper option somewhere.

Our job isn’t to convince you that cheap food is bad.

Our job is to give you another option:

Know where your food comes from.
Know what you’re paying for.
Ask questions.
Read labels.
Support American farmers and local businesses whenever you can!
