What do honey bees have to do with mining?

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🌱⛏️

Reclamation is an important part of the mining story. It means restoring mined land and creating healthy habitats for plants, wildlife and, yes, pollinators! 🐝

That's a lesson we love sharing with educators during our 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀.

And thanks to our friends at Bamert Seed Company, educators leave Coal Camp with wildflower seeds of their own. 🌼 It's a simple, hands-on reminder that the mining process doesn't end when the mining stops.
