When you’re raising animals for fair it’s important that they trust you so when you bring them to a busy new environment they behave for you and aren’t as scared. This means spending a lot of time just hanging out with them. Ax likes to make his market turkeys little salads from weeds he picks around the yard and adorn their feed with them. Z likes to share her breakfast with them after a busy morning of farm chores. We are a busy bunch but these kids remind me to slow down and take time to enjoy the animals in our care. I’ll miss these friendly little white dinosaurs when their time comes.
