One of my favorite, well worn books is Grace For the Moment, by Max Lucado. It includes a list of goals for the day - your intention- how you want to act today and every day. I read it most mornings. There is one line that says “I will be overlooked before I will boast.”

So, with that in mind, here is a photo of the ribbons my cows earned at the International Miniature Zebu Association (IMZA) on-line show. A heartfelt thank you to the IMZA for putting on this show. It allowed those of us who don’t have any nearby shows the opportunity to experience showing our Miniature Zebu and having them evaluated.

A special thank you to the judge who took the time to provide such thoughtful comments on each animal. I learned a great deal about ideal confirmation and what to look for when evaluating my own cattle. That knowledge is invaluable as I make breeding decisions and think about what qualities I’d like to add to my herd. I appreciate the time and effort of everyone involved. I’m invested in this breed in more ways than one and it’s nice to know the IMZA is as well.🐮

50% chance of heifers
50% chance of bulls
I’m thinking 100% chance of some black, and some white. Marge is raising her hand(nose). Yes Marge - maybe some gray- duly noted.
🤷🏼‍♀️Genetics is a lot more complicated than that, but that’s my forecast.🤷🏼‍♀️
