Hi everyone! Just wanted to remind you that the Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market will again be located across the street from its usual home in the parking lot of the Yorktown Middle School and will continue to be until Morrow's Meadow dries out. It's really awesome that Nancy and the other good volunteers have worked so very hard to find us a home. It would be a true shame if everyone had to go who knows how long without my bread! I know I get super grumpy if I even have to go one day without my own sourdough. I will be bringing both Bearded Sourdough and Rosemary Sourdough this week, hooray! I will also be bringing at least two kinds of marshmallows and I will try very hard to bring bagels as well! I hope everyone has a better week and I can't wait to see you all this Friday!

Good news everyone! You'll be able to find me tomorrow evening across the street. Details in the flyer!

We’re moving and you’re invited to check us out in our new location! We loved our home in the Walnut Grove when the grass was greener, but we LOVE our new digs across the street where the pavement is drier. In addition to a new location, our new hours for August 21 are 5:30-7:30pm.

You heard that right. While Morrow’s Meadow Park is closed due to recent flooding, we are temporarily moving across the street to the Yorktown Middle School parking lot. We’ll be in a different location, but many of the same farm, food, and artisan vendors will be there.

Hi everyone! It looks like another dicey day tomorrow as far as the weather is concerned. It has changed almost every time I've looked at it over the last couple days. Like usual, if we do get rained out I will make another post tomorrow morning about pick up orders for anyone who might want anything! Fingers crossed that it won't be though! I'm making flavored marshmallows! Vanilla, chocolate and orange! I hope you all have a great day and hope to see you tomorrow!

Good afternoon everyone! It's a beautiful day today and I just wanted to let you know that I will be set up at the Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market tonight from 4:30 till I sell out! I'm going to try to bring as much bread as I possibly can in as many varieties as I can, along with the greatest cookies in the entire universe! Hello again everyone! Unfortunately it looks like the market has been canceled today. It's a bummer but I was sort of expecting it even though I still had no choice but to bake. That being said, I'm wondering if anyone would like to place an order for pickup? They got me about halfway through certain things but on hand and ready to go, I have four 1 lb loaves of House recipes, four loaves sandwich style "sour" House Recipe (This is House Recipe dough that has fermented for several days and it's very ye**ty, a rich Sourdough basically), ten 1 lb rounds of Bearded Sourdough, four 2 lb sliced loaves of Bearded Sourdough, ten Garlic & Feta Khachipori, ten Chocolate Babka, eleven Pull-a-Part Garlic Cheese Bread and twelve Jalapeno Pull-a-Part Garlic Cheese Bread. It's first come first served of course but there seems to be plenty! Just direct message me on here or you can call or text me at 765-713-9005 to place an order and you can pick it up any time this weekend! I live downtown Muncie, about a block away from Madjax on the corner of Madison and Jackson. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello everyone! It's looking like it's going to storm tomorrow. The Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market hasn't been canceled yet but it's a possibility. Different apps show different levels of severity. I have been and will continue to be baking so if it does get canceled and you still need bread, I will have you covered! Just send me a direct message on here or text me at 765-713-9005 to place an order! I have all of the usual (but extraordinary) things, Bearded Sourdough, House Recipe, Pull-a-Part Garlic Cheese Bread, Garlic & Feta Khachipori, Chocolate Babka, and of course the greatest cookies in the universe! I've also been making these large 2 lb loaves out of the Sourdough and the House Recipe but this week I'm testing a Rustic White Bread! It's 2 lb and sliced and I only have two of them. They're yummy but a bit blander to make for better sandwiches and really just the best bread and butter! I don't know if you've had one of my big sliced loaves yet but a big thick slice of bread is super satisfying! All of my 1 lb rounds are $9 or two loaves for $17, the 2 lb sliced loaves are $16, all breads that are filled with something like cheese or chocolate are $9 or two loaves for $17 and you can mix and match with the 1 lb rounds. The cookies are $2 a piece, three cookies for $5 or a baker's dozen of 13 cookies for $20 which get you three free cookies, and isn't that the most reasonable price to pay for the greatest cookie in the entire known universe?! Once again, I must stress that is just the known universe. I can't vouch for the multiverse although I would place bets. Anyway, just let me know if you'd like to place an order and if the market doesn't get canceled, you can pick it up at the Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market and if it is, you can pick it up at my home here in downtown Muncie. The weather appears to have cleared up for tomorrow! At least as far as most of the sources that I have looked to, anyway. Yesterday it was storms everywhere but today some sources say partly cloudy and hot, while others say mostly clear with possible scattered storms. Most sources are saying partly cloudy though and as long as they don't cancel the market, I'll take those odds. The heat is okay by me, I'll have ice packs in my case with the cookies 😁. I will see you all tomorrow night from 4:30 until I sell out at the Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market in Morrow's Meadow, right underneath the trees! You can refer to my previous post for what I am bringing with me, although I'll probably be making some 4th of July appropriate hamburger buns too and you can see below an example of my new 2 lb Sandwich Loaves! I'll be slicing them and everything! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that there is a chance for storms again this weekend. I'm hoping the weather people are wrong, not just for the market but for Independence Day festivities as well! What I'm gonna do though is bake anyway and it will be available for pickup downtown Muncie! I'm going to have Bearded Sourdough, Mexican Herb Sourdough, House Recipe, Pull-a-Part Garlic Cheese Bread, Chocolate Babka and the greatest cookies in the universe! I'm also rolling out my new premium 2 lb sliced Sourdough loaves! They'll be $16 which is a dollar less than if you bought two 1 lb rounds. We should know for sure by tomorrow if it will be cancelled and if so, ill make another post and my bread will be available for pick-up all weekend! Until then, stay cool!
