For now, this is goodbye!
Today, August 30th, marks the end of our last baking day before Discovery Cookies takes its temporary pause.
There are no words big enough to thank every single person who has supported me throughout these almost three years. Thank you for trusting my work, for welcoming my cookies into your homes, for recommending them to your families and friends, and for believing in what I created here in my kitchen.
And especially over these past two months, thank you for your incredible kindness, patience, understanding, and support while I’ve been navigating a situation that made this pause necessary. Your messages, cards, kind words, and encouragement have meant more to me than you will ever know. You made this difficult moment so much easier to carry.
But I want you to know something: I’m okay. I’m sad to step away from Discovery, of course, but I’m also looking forward to having some time to breathe, study, learn, experiment, and make plans.
I have so many ideas and dreams for Discovery Cookies that I hope I’ll be able to bring to life when the time is right. And while I’m away from selling cookies, I certainly won’t be away from the kitchen.
I’ll be cooking, testing recipes, developing cookie recipes, creating new products, learning new things... basically doing what I love and what I do best. 🧡
And I’m not deleting or putting this page on hold. I’ll keep Discovery Cookies right here, and I’ll be sharing updates and, at least once a month, some of the food and recipes I’m making along the way.
So this isn’t really goodbye. It’s see you later.
I hope that, before too long, I’ll be back here, turning on my oven, making a mess in my kitchen, and baking cookies for all of you again.
Thank you for almost three incredible years.
