Spring on the farm meets Kentucky tradition 🌹🥃

This Derby Bourbon Pie is layered with everything we love—flaky homemade crust, toasted pecans, rich Ghirardelli chocolate, and a silky bourbon chocolate glaze. Finished with a touch of flaky sea salt and best served warm with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream.

A little rustic, a little refined… and made for slow evenings and good company.

Fresh from the kitchen and full of summer flavor 🍑🌿

This batch of homemade peach salsa is the perfect pairing for a smoked feast. Made with organic peaches, fresh jalapeños, zesty lime, and crisp red onion, it brings together just the right balance of sweetness and spice in every bite.

Light, bright, and full of farm-grown goodness, this salsa is just as easy to scoop with tortilla chips as it is to serve alongside your favorite smoked meats.

Simple ingredients. Bold flavor. Farm fresh always.

This weekend we’re firing up the smoker and bringing a little pre-summer flavor to the farm 🍑🔥

We chose to go all in on a bourbon peach glaze—homemade and layered with rich, warm notes. Hints of vanilla and amaretto come through beautifully, balanced with organic peach cider vinegar for just the right touch of brightness.

Made with organic peaches soaked in amaretto syrup, Kentucky bourbon with vanilla, and simple, real ingredients—this glaze is already setting the tone for a slow, smoky, flavor-packed weekend.

Stay tuned… this one’s going to be a feast.

Sometimes the best things come from what’s left behind 🍓🥧✨

With extra pie crust and a little leftover strawberry rhubarb filling, these fried hand pies came to life — golden, crispy on the outside, warm and jammy on the inside. Finished with a dusting of powdered sugar and served hot and fresh… they didn’t last long.

Simple ingredients, no waste, and a little farmhouse magic in every bite.

Strawberry rhubarb pie headed out for another corporate gathering today 🍓🥧

This one never misses. It’s an all-time favorite around here — a family recipe rooted deep in Appalachian kitchens, passed down and kept simple the way it should be. Sweet strawberries, that signature tart rhubarb, and a flaky crust that pulls it all together just right.

It may not quite be peak season yet, but the best version of this pie will always be made the old way — fresh-picked strawberries and rhubarb straight from the garden, paired with rich, homemade grass-fed butter. That’s the kind of flavor you just can’t replicate.

Until then… we make do, we bake anyway, and we share it with good people.

There’s something special about harvesting what nature gives you 🌿💜

Our lilacs are grown right here on the farm—completely organic and pesticide-free. When they’re in full bloom, we harvest in small batches to keep everything fresh and intentional. Each cluster is carefully cleaned, then laid out to air dry, preserving their delicate fragrance and natural beauty.

These blooms don’t go to waste—they’re saved for future use in our kitchen and body care. From soft floral notes in baking to infused oils and handmade products, lilac season is one of our favorites here at Peche Farms.

Simple, seasonal, and straight from the land 🌸

Last night’s Easter dinner was everything we love about this life 🤎🌿

We had a beautiful roast from Moore’s Family Farm on the smoker—low and slow until it was tender, smoky, and full of flavor. There’s just something special about cooking local and knowing exactly where your food comes from.

And for dessert… fudgey peanut butter swirl brownies that didn’t last long at all 🍫🥜

Easter for us is about slowing down, sharing a meal, and making memories around the table with the people we love.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend 🤍
