🐓🪿🐐 A LITTLE FARM LIFE UPDATE — BECAUSE WE’VE BEEN MIA! 🐐🪿🐓

If you’ve been wondering where the heck we’ve been lately, trust me… we haven’t disappeared! Life just decided to throw us one HELL of a curveball. 😅

Since our last update, things have been absolutely INSANE around here. I was already recovering from my first knee surgery after tearing my ACL, and just when I thought I was finally on the road to getting back on my feet, I ended up having a SECOND EMERGENCY KNEE SURGERY. 😭🦵🏼

A bad slip resulted in my kneecap being completely shattered, which meant another emergency surgery, more hardware, plates, screws and wires, and a whole new recovery that I definitely did NOT have on my 2026 bingo card. 🤦‍♀️😂

So while the farm has still been running, I’ve been doing it a little differently. Between being non-weight-bearing, living in a brace, using crutches/wheelchairs, and trying to keep up with everything, it has definitely been a challenge.

Thankfully, the animals have been doing their part by keeping me entertained and reminding me that farm life doesn’t stop just because Mom is temporarily broken. 😂🪿

The ducks are still being ducks. The geese are still causing chaos. The chickens are still doing chicken things. The goats are still convinced everything belongs to them. And somehow, through all of this, the farm keeps going. ❤️

We’ve had lots happening behind the scenes — animals coming and going, rehoming plans, new additions, projects put on hold, and plenty of farm chaos that I just haven’t had the ability to keep up with posting.

I’m still recovering, still healing, and VERY ready to get back to doing what I love. I miss being able to work outside, take care of everything myself, and actually get things DONE without having to plan around a knee that currently has more hardware than my toolbox. 😂😭

So please bear with us while we get caught back up! ❤️

We may have been quiet, but there’s still plenty happening around here — and hopefully I’ll be back on two functioning legs soon enough to show you all of it!

Pure entertainment, pure chaos, and somehow pure joy all at once. He acts like it’s the most important job in the world keeping that ball under control, and honestly… he takes it very seriously 😂💛

Dobby has officially entered the gangly coonhound stage and I’m not emotionally prepared for it 😭

One day he was a cute little pup and the next he’s all legs, elbows, and zero coordination trying to figure out where his body is supposed to go. And don’t even get me started on the fact that he is a HEAVY boy with some absolutely massive paws already 🐾

How does something so awkward and clumsy also manage to take up this much space in my heart (and on my furniture) at the same time?

Growing way too fast… but I’ll admit, he’s getting handsomer by the day 🐶

Mind you this is all because nobody is paying attention to him🤣

My three beautiful big broody mamas 🥹💛 There’s just something so special about watching them all settled in doing their thing, each one in their own little world, but still part of this quiet little rhythm together. They’ve fully embraced their broody phase and honestly I can’t help but admire them even when they’re being stubborn about it.

Each one has her own personality shining through even more right now—protective, determined, a little dramatic at times, but all of it just makes me love them more. Farm life has its chaos, but moments like this slow everything down and remind me how lucky I am to have these girls here with me.

Could watch them for hours 🥹🦆💛

Well, the countdown is officially on until the boys lose their manhood 🤣😭 As much as I’d love to see what one of them could produce, sometimes the best farm decisions aren’t the easiest ones!

Well… looks like this farm girl needed a few replacement parts installed 🤣🚜

Surgery is officially done and recovery is underway. Mind you, this is what my old ACL looked like before, and what the new one looked like after being put in 😳 Absolutely crazy what doctors can do nowadays.

Gonna be spending a little less time chasing animals and a little more time with ice packs, CPM machines, and physical therapy for awhile 💀 But just like farm life, recovery takes patience, hard work, and a whole lotta grit 💪🌾

We’ll be back up and running soon enough 🙌

The farm page has been a little quiet lately as I’ve been busy prepping for ACL surgery 😅 But don’t worry, I’ve got LOTS of content waiting to share with you guys 🫶 Between the animals, farm chaos, and everything in between, there’s been plenty going on behind the scenes.

I’ll be working on getting some posts and videos together tonight and tomorrow, and I seriously cannot wait to share everything with you all 🤍 Thank you guys for sticking around while life’s been a little hectic lately 🥹🌾🐐🐓
