We asked for Rhubarb and our community provided. We are at the point we couldn't possibly take any more rhubarb. Our freezers are full to the brim with rhubarb. Our Ginger Rhubarb Pizza is very popular and unique. So happy we can continue making the sauce. Thanks to all who helped us out.

Today Grandma Marcy Heimerman had her Granddaughter Cora down at the shop. Cora was a big help rolling out pizza dough and prebaking crusts for today's customers. Cora caught on quick and we sure enjoyed having her around. Thanks Cora.

Great story about out partners in crime East Channel Brewing Company. If you click on the link you will see they called us Cadberrys instead of Carberrys. We have been called worse. 😀

See that seagull in East Channel Brewing Company's logo? If you assumed it simply part of a generic scenic ode to life on Lake Superior, you’re wrong. He’s very important here.

That’s Itchee — a rescued gull that lived in a clawfoot bathtub in Joe DesJardins’ aunt and uncle’s back yard in Munising. He liked to eat potato chips and acted more like a pet dog than a transient wild bird, said Joe, and was so beloved he became part of the local lore and a mascot of sorts for brewery (and officially recognized in Itchee’s Washtub, LLC).

The seagull became part of the DesJardins family by flying into their sphere, and it’s a similarly true for anyone that visits the Munising brewery. They’re instantly welcomed in and part of the crew.

“We’re approachable and fun,” said Joe. “We are all family here, having a good time and really enjoying what we do.” ...

This group did it right. They ordered several different pizzas and created a smorgasbord. They paired it with some great craft beer from East Channel Brewing Company and got one of Tina's raspberry pies for dessert. Thanks for stopping in and so glad you think our pizzas are delicious.

Here's The Munising 4th of July Fourth Schedule. We are open at East Channel Brewing Company right after the parade is completed until at least 9 pm.

Anyone have a bunch of Rhubarb that they would care to barter for our woodfired pizza? I think Rhubarb in Alger County may not be ready to harvest yet. Hoping soon so I can make Rhubarb sauce for one of our pizzas. Whenever the Rhubarb is ready and you would like to trade it in for pizzas, stop on by East Channel Brewing Company and talk to the ladies making pizzas. Thank you.

This week we helped plant flowers at the City of Munising's only round-a-about. This is annual planting goes back along time. Do you remember The Bermuda Triangle the city had before the round-a-bout? :) We treated all the Volunteers to one of our woodfired pizzas to help thank them for helping Munising look beautiful this summer.
