Luci`s Hillside Farm is my life long dream and now has become my husband Lucas`s too. Luci`s stands for LU for Lucas and CI for Cindy and is pronounced Lucy`s. We originally were going to call our hobby farm " My Father`s Footsteps" after my dad Reg Card who passed away 3 years ago but that name was taken. My father taught me almost everything I know about farming and I just love it!! Right now th

e farm consists of 27 Free range chickens ( and boy are they free range) if you are in Pratts Hollow I am sure you have probably seen them down by the church :) They just won`t stay home. Then we have Zoey a paint rescue, Sadie and Velvet our mini donkeys who are sisters, Our fur babies Zeus, Zanders and Kitty Bean. Bluberries, raspberries,blackberries and elderberries. Also Rhubarb,horseradish,garlic, and heritage hops. Our garden has an assortment of vegetables. This spring we will be adding a greenhouse that will offer hanging baskets, 6 pack veggie and flower plants and combo pots. Also I am going to have a special line of flowers that will be called "Beverly Blue" after my mom Bev Card who passed away June of this year. Tomato 🍅 planting has begun so far I’ve planted cherry,jet star,Roma,beef steak,long keeper,chefs choice,big beef,whopper,supremos and a mystery tomato. Then it’s time to start the peppers 🌶 and eggplant 🍆

Tomato planting starts this weekend and 2 more weeks my plugs arrive spring isn’t far behind that!!!
