I love when the flower stand is bursting with color! It just makes me smile to see the beauty that comes after hours and hours of work to get to this point!
And I do mean hours! Lol. There's starting the seeds, watering them every day, moving giant mounds of compost to make rows to plant in, laying the w**d fabric, burning all the holes to plant in, then planting out all the seedlings, watering when needed, pinching the ones that need pinching, trying to keep pests under control, then going out to cut all the flowers, process and strip all the leaves from the stems, arrange all the bouquets and then set them all up on the stand and put out my signs to say we are open! There's definitely things missing from that list and it is all hard, time consuming and most of the time, sweaty work.
It sure makes me appreciate the bouquets that are made from all of it though!
