Look yall, we got off the farm! 😀

Had the loveliest morning touring 3 Porch Farm in Comer, GA. We’ve been inspired by their commitment to principles over profit even before we joined in on this crazy game we call flower farming and we’re thrilled to get the chance to tour their operation and ask questions in person.

Thanks to the Blabla for organizing some amazing farm tours this year. We’re proud members and look forward to the events whenever we can make the time to attend.

We swung over to our old stomping grounds of Athens, GA (go dawgs) for an educational tour through the with flower guru thank you Dr. A!

A quick 24 hour trip off-farm was capped off with a stop at and we’re headed back to Tennessee full of new ideas and ready for an awesome fall.

☀️ Happy Summer Solstice!! ☀️

This week marks a big natural turning point in the year, the bright warm rays of a fully present sun will soon begin to wane, although it doesn’t feel that way in Middle TN. I’ve been lucky enough to celebrate this day in many parts of the world and the happiness of family, sunshine, and more time together permeates through each culture’s celebration. While I love this time of year for all those reasons, it has been harder to convince a toddler it’s time for bed when the sun is still up! 🤪

On the farm we turn our attention towards fall tasks, while harvesting a bountiful summer. Fall dahlias are planted, pruned, pinched and supported. Final heirloom mum cuttings are being propagated. Warm fall hues are being seeded and the weeds are taller than the aforementioned toddler. 🏃🏼‍♀️
