The many friends of the winery will be delighted to hear that Harvest has been very good this year. Several new releases are also available at the winery. Murphys is waiting to welcome all of you with its 30+ wineries, most of them on Main Street like us. No need to drive !

The world convention of FICB (Federation Internationale des Confreries Bacchiques) took place in Napa / Sonoma in June with over 200 participants. An amazing display of costumes, traditions, wine-making talent and fellowship. A Mass took place at the Catholic Church in Saint Helena (Napa) with a procession in the streets. Gourmet dinners took place at several major wineries such as Raymond, Buena Vista, William Hill, Gloria Ferrer, Artisan, etc. A memorable week for delegations of some 16 countries.

The international convention of wine fraternities (FICB) is just finished after almost two weeks of celebration in Napa / Sonoma for some 250 delegates from all over the US and the world. These wine fraternities have superb traditional costume often going back to ancient times. We will post pictures of that memorable convention which was held in Santa Rosa (California) with major events in several Napa / Sonoma wineries.

We were part of five wineries and eight merchants celebrating "Dia de Los Mu***os" in Historic Murphys, on Oct. 29 and 30th. 2011.
A very successful event. We want to thank the many visitors and clients who came to Murphys on this week-end, enjoyed live music and spent a great day with all of us, also enjoying the musicians playing French and international music. We'll do that again next year !!!
