Meet Micro, he's a tiny little micro miracle. He is the smallest baby we've ever had. Mom cleaned him up and realized there was something wrong with him, and she walked off leaving him in the field. Now, before we go hating on Mom, we have to remember goats are prey animals. They have their babies and get them up and moving in minutes, not days. So, if Mom realizes there's a problem, they will often walk away to keep the siblings safe. He was very scrunched up, and the way he was positioned, his leg tendons were too tight, so he had some trouble unfolding. He's doing better, getting stronger every day; he still walks a little weird, but he's walking! He's a bottle baby, as Mom still doesn't want him. The vet gave him a clean bill of health, gave me the actual bill, and a baby that needs to be fed every hour. Long story short, if you want to meet our Micro Miracle and take a feeding, stop by Saturday! You can hold, rock, snuggle, and feed him as much as you would like. He’s two weeks old now and still smaller than a normal kid at birth.
