Along our Main Street Corridor… we always keep a “Walk/Run-O-Meter” to see how many participants have signed up for our Big Muddy Monster Walk/Run event on Saturday, June 20. This year, the Big Muddy Monster himself wanted to get involved, so he’s handling the stats. We always try to get over 100 entrants in the event, and we’re on our way!

Pre-registration by June 10th to guarantee a t-shirt! Online registration is open till the morning of the race on June 20th. Packet pick up at the Old Depot building, 1701 Walnut St. in Murphysboro, starting at 7:00am the day of the race. 8:00am Run/Walk begins. All proceeds benefit the Old Depot Restoration project, which will renovate it as a community welcome center!

And… we really didn’t expect him to stand on a street corner recruiting participants. That was his idea.
