Our last ride together

We’ve had JT (the old man) for 11 of his 18 years. He has served us well and is headed to his new home where he will be loved and spoiled as much as he was here. The day we met him he was owned by a classmates father-in-law. We made it about 20 minutes away and the decision was made that he would be ours. I called Chris and told him we would pick up JT the next day. Chris said you already named him?? Yep, JT is short for Justin Todd 🥰

Sleep well boys we are going riding today

Speck: The humans went to bed at 9pm last night and shortly after that I had an invader in my kennel. I barked like crazy until 1am but my parents were trying to ignore me and sleep. I know that mom wanted to kill me. I was finally able to wake my buddy Rascal up and when he saw that I was not in my kennel alone he started barking with me. Of course Dad came running out when he heard Rascal.

Dad: There is a c**n in your kennel Soeck!!!!

Speck: No s**t I’ve been trying tell you for hours 🙄

Walked out to Lois stuck in the hay feeder at 5:30 am. I couldn’t do a dang thing in the dark by myself, I’m not talented enough to hold the light, saw and keep her out of the way. I waited until daylight to go home and cut her out. She could have at least said thank you🤷‍♀️

The 4 weanlings got separated into their own pen again today. Zippy the wonder pony was put in a nice grass lot. The 6 does are patiently waiting for their hunk of burning love to arrive to the breeding pen. 😬🥰
