Surviving the heat, one day at a time! 🥵

The animals are doing their best to stay cool, and honestly… so are we! Between fresh water, shady spots, fans, and plenty of checking on everyone throughout the day, summertime on the farm is definitely a labor of love 🤍

We’re all counting down until those cooler fall days arrive! 🍂🍁

Until then, you’ll find us sweating, watering, feeding, and keeping our little farm family as comfortable as possible. Wish us luck! This is exhausting 😭😵‍💫

My sweet husband surprised me today!🤎

If you know me then you should know that geese + halloween are two of my most favorite things! Not to mention one of my favorite movies being Hocus Pocus! Y’all better run to Tractor Supply Co. and grab yourself an oversized pullover!!!!

It has been an INSANE 24 hours between the tornadoes, 100 mph winds, an earthquake, and tons of rain! ⛈️🌪️💨☔️

There’s nothing scarier than feeling your house shake and knowing there’s nothing you can do besides pray! I got Colter out of his bed + woke Casey up so quick after waking up to those alarms!

We suffered some minor damage - there is debris everywhere, trees down, power outage, coops damaged, and our main power pole being down and having to get it replaced but we are all safe, alive, and okay! My poor critters are a muddy mess and shaken up but i’m so thankful everyone is still alive!

It could have been sooo much worse!🥹

I hope all of our friends + their critters are safe 🤍

Continuous prayers for our community, surrounding communities, + the linemen🙏🏻

A little cooler weather today has the whole farm feeling HAPPY! 🤍

After all those hot and miserable summer days, I think the animals are just as excited as we are for a little break from the 100 degree heat! You can definitely tell they’re enjoying the cooler temps — more exploring, more playing, and lots of happy farm animal energy!

We’ll gladly take this over 100 degree weather every day! Bring on fall!🍂
