So the ewes and lambs have been getting all the attention lately. I figure there should be a post in honor of our very studdly ram. 6 sons and 2 daughters is pretty honorable. But the ram, dubbed Ramses the Great by the kids, has been feeling lonely so he made friends with Xandra, our livestock guardian dog. They have their own games they play most of the day which include lots of running and dodging and jumping. I tried to capture it but still shots just don't do it justice.

Alfredo is 2 weeks old! He's now enjoying some hay and grain and getting better (re)acquainted with life at the barn. He enjoys sitting on my lap for tractor rides and doesn't realize that he's supposed to stay at the barn!

Meet Alfred. His mama didn't want two babies. She decided that one was plenty. So this little guy is getting some special treatment. He had trouble taking a bottle so we improvised with the sippy cup. I guess my 3-year old is done with it now! You will see lots more pictures of Alfred. And yes, I'm feeding him in the living room by the fire place!
