Happy Thanksgiving from Penny Pumpkin Patch!
Thanksgiving always brings us back to what matters most — faith, family, and the blessing of community. As the oldest pumpkin patch in Western Kentucky, we’re especially grateful for the generations of families who’ve walked these fields, explored our corn maze, visited the old Penny Grocery Store, and made us part of their fall traditions for over three decades.
Every pumpkin picked, every kiddo’s muddy boots, every laugh echoing through the maze… it all means more to us than we can put into words. You’re the reason this little patch of land continues to grow, year after year.
From our family to yours, thank you for supporting a local, multigenerational farm that still believes in simple joys and honest fun.

If any farmers with livestock and/or photographers still doing fall photo sessions that need pumpkins, we are leaving a pile of them abf corn shock bundles out front near the road free for pickup! (Free to anyone really) The flat stackable ones are still very solid and will last AWHILE! First come first serve! This pile will grow as the day goes on, too!

We were up late last night restocking after a big day of picking to make sure there’s plenty to choose from in preparation for Halloween! 🌾🍂
✨ The patch is OPEN NOW on the honor system — come early for the best pickin’!
We’ll have the bouncy houses up and ready for the kids soon! 🏰

🌟🐾 You All Worked Magic Once — Let’s Do It Again! 🐾🌟
After our amazing Penny Pumpkin folks pulled together to find the first abandoned kitten a home last weekend, I know without a doubt you can do it again! ❤️
A few days ago, one of our kiddos found this tiny kitten all alone under a car in a parking lot — scared, trembling, and crying for help. She’s just a baby, but she’s already survived more than any little soul should have to.
She’s safe and warm now, wrapped in soft blankets and finally getting some rest — but we already have a full house of critters and can’t keep her long-term. 🐈‍⬛💞
She’s as sweet as they come — gentle, trusting, and full of those tiny meows that melt even the toughest hearts.
