Sometimes when planting for a deep burgundy turns into a beautiful hot pink. I planted three different wine zinnias from two different seed sources. Each zinnia was this color.

Mahogany Splendor has done well. I have two other plants 4 times this size. Beautiful for fall filler.

Still seeding trays and attempting to grow flowers for a wedding. The temps have taken a toll on everything. I’m not a quitter and I will throw in the towel when I’ve exhausted every method. I do know when to stop.

They tear up everything. For some bizarre reason they are one of my favorites. If you know me at all you know I love them.

Basket of zinnia deadheads. No, I’m not exactly sure what I’ll do with them. Yes, these are things I do daily. Yes, I know I can use them as seed. They just make me happy.

Sorry for lack of posting. I want to thank all of our new customers and my “regulars”. Mom and I are just watering, cleaning up, and prepping for fall/winter growing as well as next season. Seed inventory, ordering, soil samples, the list goes on. Mom removed all the tomato plants which empties one tunnel. Last week of October will complete the tunnel cleaning process. Seeds are getting started for spring flowers. Existing plots outside are already sprouting to over winter.

Rain would be beyond beneficial. As dad always said “it’ll rain some day.” Next season will bring alot of new products and the garden should be back to normal production from years past. Bailey will be taking on a new role here as well. My family has had a lot of changes the past 2.5 years and I appreciate everyone’s patience.

Zinnias continue to show off. Most are chest high now. It’s nice to walk into the paths and be surrounded by beauty.
