Red Dirt Kitchen has officially landed in Medicine Park, Oklahoma and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉

You can now find our small-batch, artisan pepper jams at Mrs. Chadwick’s Bakery located at 153 E. Lake Drive, Medicine Park, OK! ❤️

If you’ve never visited Medicine Park, you’re missing out on one of Oklahoma’s greatest treasures. Nestled in the historic district, surrounded by those beautiful Wichita Mountains where the buffalo roam 🦬⛰️, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon shopping, eating, and soaking in all the small-town charm.

There’s just something special about small Oklahoma towns, good conversation, and local business owners chasing big dreams. 🩷🌶️

Today, Red Dirt Kitchen loaded up and headed down to beautiful Medicine Park to visit some of the CUTEST little shops and introduce folks to our small batch artisan pepper jams! 🍓🍍🌶️

Not only did we have an absolute blast, but we met some truly wonderful people who are working SO hard getting ready for Memorial Day Weekend and all of the summer visitors headed their way ☀️🏕️🛍️ The heart behind these small businesses is something you just can’t replicate.

We are incredibly hopeful that some of the connections we made today will help bring a little piece of Made in Oklahoma goodness to the Lawton/Medicine Park area soon! ❤️

A HUGE shoutout to my lifelong friend Carrie — the creative brain, marketing queen, and visionary behind so much of what Red Dirt Kitchen is becoming 👏✨ From helping shape our brand to pouring countless hours into our website launch coming soon 👀…she has worked tirelessly behind the scenes and deserves ALL the love!!

Today is SAMPLE DAY at Red Dirt Kitchen and I’ve got some exciting updates! 🌶️🔥

First up… the candied jalapeños recipe is officially BACK and perfected! 🙌 The new batch (coming soon) is made the way I originally created it — using fresh jalapeños with a sweeter, thicker brine and just the right kick of heat. It’s exactly how it’s supposed to be!

Because we’re using fresh peppers, there’s one extra hoop to jump through on the production side — it requires an FDA process authority letter before we can put it into production. That means it’ll take a little longer to get them stocked, but trust me… it will be worth the wait. 🌶️✨

BUT… that means I need to clear out my current stock of Red Dirt Candy to make room for the OG recipe coming back!

The jars I currently have were made with pickled jalapeños instead of fresh (my packer talked me into trying it). They are still absolutely delicious, just a little spicier and not quite as sweet as the original version.

So I’m pricing them to MOVE:

🔥 Red Dirt Candy Candied Jalapeños – $5 per jar 🔥

Perfect on:
• burgers 🍔
• crackers & cream cheese 🧀
• nachos 🌮
• sandwiches 🥪
• basically anything that needs a sweet-heat kick

Once these are gone, the fresh jalapeño OG version will be what replaces them!

When your jam gets gifted… and then immediately requested again 💁🏻‍♀️🌶️

Got this text this morning and it made our day 😭🔥 Then a repeat customer stopped by to grab 7 more jars — some for herself and some heading back to South Africa 🇿🇦✈️ for friends who were here at Christmas, tried the pineapple pepper jam at their Christmas gathering, and loved it so much they wanted more.

From holiday tables to crossing oceans, we are so thankful for the love, the sharing, and the repeat orders ❤️

Y’all… I totally forgot to share this little outtake from our Living Oklahoma segment! 😂
Our Marketing Director Lizbeth Digital Creative snagged this moment, and it still makes me smile. It was a tremendous complimet to hear how much they loved it!

The crew and anchors absolutely went to town on the jams, and hearing their reactions was the highlight of my day. My FAVORITE part? When Paul admitted he “can’t usually do spicy”… and then couldn’t stop eating the pineapple pepper jam because it wasn’t too spicy at all! 🙌🔥🍍

For anyone scared of the “pepper” in pepper jam — I promise the sweetness balances everything out. The sugar in jam recipes keeps the heat soft, friendly, and downright delicious. 😉
