A jar of jam helped me through one of the hardest seasons of my life. 💗 Now, those same jars are helping someone else through theirs.

Red Dirt Kitchen began during my breast cancer journey, when making Pineapple Pepper Jam gave me a creative outlet, a little hope, and a way to help pay for treatment.

Today, I’m grateful to be in remission. And this October, I’m turning that full-circle moment into a way to give back.
10% of every jar of Pineapple Pepper Jam sold through October will be donated to Tenaciously Teal Oklahoma City to support cancer fighters and their families.

We made a delivery today to Chester’s Party Barn & Farm in Piedmont, just in time for pumpkin patch season! Their 25-acre farm is packed with good old-fashioned fall fun, including pony rides, a petting zoo, tractor rides, a giant round-bale mystery maze, barnyard games, a giant slide, Pumpkin Chunkin’, photo spots, and plenty more for the whole family. 🎃🐴🐐🚜🍁

And while you’re there making all those fall memories, be sure to swing through GiGi’s Gift Shop because you can now stock up on most of your favorite Red Dirt Kitchen flavors while you’re there! 🛍️🌶️❤️

🎀 SPREAD HOPE. SHARE THE LOVE. ❤️

This October, we’re giving back in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

🍍 10% of proceeds from every jar of Pineapple Pepper Jam sold throughout October will be donated to Tenaciously Teal, a local Oklahoma nonprofit that supports cancer fighters and their families with care packs, financial assistance, gas and grocery assistance, and encouragement.

This cause is especially close to my heart because Red Dirt Kitchen began during my own cancer journey, when I started making Pineapple Pepper Jam to help raise money to get me to my treatments.

A jar of Pineapple Pepper Jam helped me get to treatment. Now those jars are going to help someone else through theirs.

Every jar is a little reminder that together, we really can make a difference. ✨

Today’s Made in Oklahoma haul did NOT disappoint! 🤩🛍️ One of my favorite parts of being involved with the Made in Oklahoma Program has been discovering so many amazing Oklahoma-made products — and getting to know the incredible small business owners behind them. ❤️

🧀 I grabbed another treat from Tia | Owner of Faithfully Fit, one of my favorite vendors I’ve met while we’ve been out doing samples! Her Cheddar Protein Snack Mix is SO good, and I love that she’s taking snack foods and giving them a protein-packed upgrade. 💪😋

🌶️ Next up: Spicy All Purpose Seasoning from Karen Hider Orton . This is one of those seasonings you can sprinkle on just about anything — meats, veggies, potatoes, eggs… you name it — and instantly kick it up a notch. 🔥🙌

🧼 I also picked up this HUGE bar of Ocean Vibes cold-process soap from The Goat Farmers Wife . Y’all… this bar is massive, smells absolutely wonderful, and almost looks too pretty to use. Almost. 😂🌊🐐

🥜 And of course I couldn’t leave without grabbing my dad some Lasley Family Farms Peanut Brittle. Oklahoma-grown peanuts + homemade brittle = Dad is about to be a very happy man. 😂❤️
