Nora walked out to the barn last February to find a tan little calf, still wet and wobbly on his legs - she decided to name him Milkshake. She bottle fed him, read books to him, and taught him to walk on the halter. 17.5 month and 1485lbs later she took Milkshake to the Lebanon Area Fair.

Nora and Milkshake were quite the sight to see at the fair. Not because he was the best there but because he was the biggest and was being shown by the smallest exhibitor. They placed 2nd in Market and Reserve Champion in Jr Showmanship.

Tears were shed as Milkshake walked on the trailer after the sale but we’re grateful for the lessons Milkshake taught our girl. He will always hold a special place in our hearts! Thank you to all who bid on Milkshake and to GAF for buying!

Rudis & Gable, whose names were inspired by Nora’s love for wrestling, inspired Nora to love showing livestock! They placed 4th & 5th respectively in Market. Tears were shed as they left the sale ring but we are thankful for opportunity for the next generation to raise livestock. Thank you to Good’s Livestock, Stonewall Ag, and Stockyard Style for the purchases of Nora’s Pigs!
